CCIM designates are recognized experts in these areas. SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors) Industrial/Office designation is awarded by the International Association of Professional Commercial Real Estate Brokers. Individuals who hold the SIOR designation are top producers in the commercial real estate field and are represented in 480 cities and 20 countries around the world. SIOR enforces a code of ethics and requires designees to complete its ethics course within their first three years of membership. Last year SIOR designees closed more than 72,000 buying, selling, or leasing transactions involving 2.2 billion square feet of commercial real estate. These transactions totaled 80.7 billion, or an average of 32.3 million per member. |
